Free Oil of Olay Gift Set!

 

I've been hearing of these deals for awhile now, and I finally decided to take the plunge. Did you know that when gift sets (or other items) offer a "bonus 1 year subscription" that you can get a refund for the subscription?! It's true. 

So take this Olay gift set for example:

It is on sale for $9 on walmart.com with free shipping.

It comes with a bonus subscription valued at $9!

Do you see where I'm going?

You'll have to pay a little tax and the cost of a stamp, but I'd say that's more than fair :)

I just did it for the first time myself this week. I bought mine in store for $10. Inside of the gift set is a little booklet that has some coupons in it and also your redemption code for the subscription. On that page, it gives you this website where you can find all the info you need to apply for your refund. Basically, print that page, send in the coupon redemption code and your receipt, and Wha-Lah! They will send you $9 back:) There are a few different sets that this applies ranging from $9-$13 online such as this one or this one. You could even break up the set for stocking stuffers!
Note: It does say one offer per address. Just read some new posts from an offer in the fall and people who sent in more than one rebate, only received a refund for one! Also, the refund is always $9, so if you choose a basket that is $13, then your cost is $4 instead of free ;) And some gift sets are .97 to ship.  
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT'S ONLY A GOOD DEAL IF YOU TURN IN THE REFUND FORM! :)
